IWRC & IAEE Presents: The Impact of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) on the Energy Industry Webinar10/26/2022 The Iowa Waste Reduction Center (IWRC) in partnership with the Iowa Association for Energy Efficiency (IAEE) will host a webinar on The Impacts of the Inflation Reduction Act on the Energy Industry on Wednesday, November 30 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. The 90-minute event will include a presentation by Jacob Goldman, LEED AP, Chief Engineer and Vice President of Energy Tax Savers as well as a Q&A.
With the recent signing of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) into law, a myriad of tax incentives for the energy community have opened up. attendees will learn about the Impact of the new legislation, new and revived incentives, tax-exempt project categories and who can benefit from the new provisions. This webinar is designed to give attendees a thorough understanding of how to include all these incentives in the calculations of energy and building project ROIs and help the energy industry continue to innovate. The Utility Pole Climbing Workshop will take place October 26 - 28 at the IAMU Training & Office Complex. This workshop will focus on the fundamentals and technique of climbing. Training will be a combination of classroom & hands-on. Who Should Attend: This workshop is beneficial for anyone that is interested in learning how to climb.
